• Bring a tripod: The best way to get photos of both of you is with a tripod. I have a big tripod that I use with my DSLR camera (which I rarely travel with anymore), a small tripod that I can use with my phone, a selfie stick tripod, and a tripod for my GoPro! Most tripods come with a Bluetooth remote that will work with your phone, or use the timer setting on your phone or camera. Take advantage of burst mode to capture a series of photos in quick succession to increase your chances of getting the perfect shot!
• Using Natural Light: Try to take photos during the golden hours of sunrise and sunset, when the light is soft and warm. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can create unflattering shadows and washed-out colors. If you must take photos during midday, the best place for photos are shaded areas or use a diffuser to soften the light.
